#5 Titanium Alloy Y-Gauge Zipper, Auto-Lock Slider

Product Detail

Premium #5 metal zipper with Y-gauge teeth in titanium alloy. Titanium delivers the metallic look and high strength buyers expect from a metal zipper, at a lower density - so the zipper is lighter than traditional metal zippers of the same strength and resists deformation and breakage. A naturally forming, dense oxide film gives excellent corrosion resistance without extra coating, while the material's surface hardness provides superior wear resistance for high-frequency use. Plating options (Platinum, Black Gold, Gold) cover both technical and fashion applications. Available as cut lengths (custom length) or zipper chain by the yard.

Application

Apparel - center zipper / center front zipper, pocket zippers. Luggage - suitcases, backpacks. Tents - tent doors, tent-to-accessory connections, tent storage bags. Home textiles - bedding (anti-static), sofa and chair covers, bedding storage bags.

Key Selling Points

Better value than copper zippers while keeping the metallic feel and high strength of metal.

Lightweight and high-strength: titanium alloy has low density and high strength - lighter than traditional metal zippers at the same strength, and less prone to deformation or breakage.

FAQ

Q:

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A:

Zipper chain is ordered in standard bales - 2,000 yards per bale for #5 nylon and 4,000 yards for #3. For cut-length zippers, the standard starting quantity is 3,000 pieces per color for resin zippers; below-standard quantities may carry a surcharge. Send us your specification and we will confirm the exact MOQ.

Q:

Can I get samples before placing an order?

A:

Yes. Every order starts with a pre-production sample made to your specification, and mass production begins only after you approve it.

Q:

What is your lead time?

A:

It depends on the order quantity and the production schedule. The delivery date is fixed in the sales contract before production starts, and we deliver against it.

Q:

How does the customization process work?

A:

Send your requirements - size, material, structure, color, quantity. We quote, make a pre-production sample, and start mass production only after your confirmation. Packing and delivery follow the contract.

Q:

Can you match my fabric color?

A:

Yes. Tapes are dyed and teeth are finished against color cards (Pantone, CCC, GCC, YKK) or your physical sample, with color consistency checked batch by batch during production.

Q:

How do you control quality?

A:

Inspection covers tape flatness, coating surface quality, zipper smoothness, slider locking function and color accuracy, with every batch checked before packing.

Q:

How are the zippers packed?

A:

Standard export packing: transparent polybags with printed inner labels showing item, color, size and quantity, then cartons or woven bags. Label size and packing details follow the sales contract.

Q:

How is zipper chain packed and measured?

A:

Nylon chain is wound in rolls and packed in bales - 200 yards per roll for #5 (10 rolls = 2,000 yards per bale) and 400 yards per roll for #3 (4,000 yards per bale). Cut-length zippers are produced 2-3 cm longer than the finished measurement as a sewing allowance, so always order by the finished size.

Q:

Do larger or simpler orders get better prices?

A:

Yes. Large quantities, fewer colors and sizes, and simpler construction mean fewer production steps - and we pass that efficiency on through more favorable unit prices. Send us your order structure for the best quote.

Q:

What is the difference between regular, reverse and invisible zippers?

A:

It is about where the teeth sit: visible on the front face on a regular zipper, turned behind the tape on a reverse zipper for a clean front, and fully concealed under the tape edge on an invisible zipper. All can be made to your color card.

Q:

Where do you ship from?

A:

Export orders are delivered to Ningbo - to the forwarder's warehouse or the port, as specified in the sales contract.
